Getting the Reviews

I have a file on my desktop where I keep all the wonderful things people are sending in about My List, My Rules. The comments keep coming in from friends and family but also from some people I didn’t know or didn’t expect to have a copy of the book. I have only received good comments from the general public. Isn’t that awesome! I am so blessed.

Peoples’ choice versus the academy

The heading of this section makes me giggle. I believe both are important.

I have always said that I’m so glad for my family and friends for loving and supporting the Shepherd and Wolfe series but they are family and friends and don’t want to hurt feelings and they want to support me and my writing partner David. However, when the publishing industry started acknowledging ALL the books with awards and nominations in Canada and the USA it validated everything for me. People who don’t know me also love these books and appreciate our YA mystery books. Beautiful.

Now, here I am, wondering if anyone out there would like to read and review My List, My Rules. I suppose I’m getting a little impatient. It’s only been in the world since November 8th—barely three months. Just a baby. Yet, I’m still in desperate need of more official reviews besides the Saskbook review—which was incredibly positive. Click on the colored words to read it if you’re interested.

You know, I’m looking for the signs on the path to make sure I’m actually on the right path.
